Hello Colorado!
It's sounds like things are going pretty good down there. Sorry to hear about your sickness, casseroles, and your hamburger legs, but I'm excited to hear all your crazy adventures. And your dream mom. I can't really guess what it means. Maybe you'll have a baby soon?

Hey. Jared. Happy Birthday! I'll eat at Manginasal for you. How's your life going? Your schedule sounds crazy. But that's how things are. Hey you know the video you guys sent on my camera like last year of you doing the magic tricks. Elder P saw it and the one where Rob is stabbing the tounge and he said, "Hey, you brother, he weird. hahaha!" I told him you were just messing around with people. Elder Q told me when he saw a picture of Rebekah that she looks like Drew Barrymore. That's like his idol I guess. I just remembered that. Anyway, I hope things are going fly with you all.

This week was way good. But we were difficulted a lot. First on Monday we had a great FHE with the Rufino. We brought a member family and everything I wanted to happen happened there. The family just started talking with them after and just said invited them to go to church and bore testimony to them about it. It was perfect. The Villannueve Family is like my favorite family here. They are way strong members and they really helped them out.

We have one investigator, Sister Myla, who is doing awesome. We've only been teaching her a couple weeks and she's already in 2 Nephi. She always shares with us little ephipanies she receives every time we visit her. I don't know. Her testimony is so strong and she really understands why the spirit is working within her. We taught her the Law of Chastity this week because she does have a baby but no husband but she lives with her mom. We told her she'd have to wait on her baptism until she was married or we figured stuff out with the guy. Anyway, she really understood. She has been way excited to be baptized but she said at church last week she felt she still needed to do something more to prepare. And she really understands the atonement and the covenant of baptism. It's just way rare we find investigators like her.

That's the main thing for us right now. We've been kind of difficulted in finding new investigators. Well, we find people, and then we teach them once. But then the next time they hide from us or tell the members living next to them they are shy to meet with us. I feel like I've told you this before. Anyway, we're just having a hard time and we're trying to think of new ideas to find new investigators. I've been pondering a lot lately though and trying to think of what the Lord would be teaching me. Because I'm not going to let hard experiences be something that makes me feel unsuccessful on my mission. And I always want to come out of everything being better than what I was. I mean, there's some places where people don't get baptisms their whole mission, and there is other places where the ward is way strong and supportive of the missionaries. But we can't do everything. We just can do all we can to lift where we stand. I really love that talk and that as our mission motto. I think it's perfect. Elder P and I are making a T-Shirt of some buff samoan guy holding up the words, Philippines Iloilo Mission, then on the bottom, it will say, life where you stand. It will be sweet. Anyway, if any of you have ideas how to get the ward more excited let me know. Or also if you know what we can do to help my investigator not have high blood.

I love all of you and hope everything is going good, and goodly going.
Halong sa Ilong mo. Mahal siya dito.
Elder Burton
